I'm having issues adding a Link.

Can't add a Link to your plant?

1)  While the Basestation is blue, reset the Link by holding down the Link button 12 seconds. Now, continue the Add Link process by pressing the same button again.

What color is the light on your Basestation?  Look for the corresponding instructions below:

Is the light on your Basestation red?

If so, you're having a connectivity issue.  Click here for possible solutions.

Is the light on your Basestation green and won't turn blue when you try to add a Link?

If so, try the following solutions:

1)  Disconnect the Basestation from its power supply by either unplugging the USB power adapter from the wall or by removing the USB power cable from the Basestation.  Wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in.  Wait up to a minute to establish a connection.  The light will turn green when a connection has been established.  Now, repeat the Add Link process.

2)  Still won't turn blue?  Make sure you entered the correct Serial Number during the setup process.  The Serial Number is located on the back of your Basestation and on the setup card you received with your system.

To check the Serial Number you entered, click the settings icon.  The Basestation Serial Number you entered will be displayed in the top right corner of the settings window.

(Note:  You will need to use the web application to find this information.  Visit http://dashboard.myplantlink.com on your laptop, tablet, or mobile phone, then follow the instructions below.)

If the Serial Number you entered does not match the Serial Number on your Basestation, you can delete your Basestation (with the trash can next to it). Then refresh the page and you'll be able to add your Basestation again.

If the Serial Number you entered does match the Serial Number on your Basestation, we're going to have to investigate the problem on our end.  Please click on the Support tab to the right or email us at support@oso.tc.

Did the light on your Basestation turn blue but won't flash yellow when you click your Link?

If so, try the following solutions:

1)  Disconnect the Basestation from its power supply by either unplugging the USB power adapter from the wall or by removing the USB power cable from the Basestation.  Wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in.  Wait up to a minute to establish a connection.  The light will turn green when a connection has been established.  Now, repeat the Add Link process.

2)  Make sure your Link's batteries are properly installed, then repeat the Add Link process.

3)  Your batteries may be too low for your Link to communicate with your Basestation.  Try replacing to the batteries, then repeat the Add Link process.

If this didn't help solve the issue, we'll have to investigate the problem on our end.  Please click on the Support tab to the right or email us at support@oso.tc.
